Looking back...75 Years of History...

As you may have already noticed by our facebook
fan-page, we have been featuring photographs
from the past. At the top of our page you see our good D.S. Dr. Mark Eckart with founding Pastor Joe Wriston and the congregation of our sister church, Faith Pointe Wesleyan in Dale Indiana. Boonville Wesleyan Church

celebrates 75 years with Homecoming Services, 10:30AM and 2:00PM
on Sunday October 24th, 2010. "In the early part of 1935,Ruth McCool and George Reynolds stood on the corner of 7th & Walnut and claimed it for the Lord without a penny to pay for it. The Lord provided and the early founders became associated with Rev. A.L. Luttrell of Evansville, leader of the "Trinity Gospel Tabernacle Association, which is now known as "Trinity Wesleyan Church." A Mrs. Randall, of Evansville loaned the group $1800.00 and the Tabernacle was built with sawdust floors and only a roof above." (To be con't)"

  • Prayer Update for Rev. Bob England...

"I just talked to my good assistant DS. As you know he had surgery last week and had to go to the doctor today for a follow-up. He is going to need to take some additional chemotherapy treatments for the cancer but the way it stands now they can do those in the doctor’s office. It is yet to be determined if additional surgery will be required. The prognosis is good and the doctors believe the problem can be resolved.

Please continue to keep him and Vivian in your prayers. God is the great physician! We love and appreciate both of them very much."

    Prayerfully,

    Dr. Mark Eckart
