 Looking back at 2010 Genesis 22:14 "Jehovahjireh-The LORD will Provide" God has done some amazing things in our lives over the past year; here are just a few highlights. ·January- We started full-time deputation ·February- Our support level hit 25% ·May- God sold our house & provided housing ·June- God sold our truck & provided a car ·July- We moved into a rental house ·August- Pledged support passed 50% ·September- School & Sports in full swing ·December- God provided another car! Also in December we hit 60%! Looking to 2011 Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength" We're so excited to think about what God is going to do in the coming year. We eagerly anticipate our biggest move yet, to the Dominican Republic! In order for us to be in the DR this June, we need to hit at least 90%. Our goal is to gain 15% by March. That would put us at 75% and allow Toni to transition home from her job. Then we hope to raise at least an additional 15% by May, putting us over 90%. That's a lot of numbers and here's the bottom line: we don't need "numbers" we need people, partners in ministry. We are truly humbled by those of you who have already taken a stand with us by investing in this ministry. And we look forward to seeing how God will continue to build our team. To reach our next goal of a 15% increase, please consider one of the suggested pledges. Be sure to use the "Forward" option at the bottom of this email. |  Summer 2011 Mission Trips As mentioned, the Hilgemans will begin Village Ministry after arriving in San Pedro. Village Ministry will start with 10 weeks of a VBS like ministry starting the first week of July and running through the first week of September. We need teams to fill those 10 weeks to assist in this ministry. Please contact us if you are interested in more information.  Fun note, take 2... Like a Rock? Yep, unmovable! :) Last month we mentioned that our van had hit 250,000 miles. Well, we no longer have that van since the engine gave out shortly after sending that newsletter! But God (ever notice how many times you say that) had a plan, as He always does. God took our Chevy but gave us a Caddy! That's right, God provided us with a free 1999 Cadillac to drive during the rest of our deputation time. We thought to make mention of our new ride, first of all to praise God for taking care of us yet again and secondly to explain why we're cruising around in a Caddy.
