As Wesleyans, we believe that life begins at conception (Section 410-11) [The Discipline of the Wesleyan Church] and are therefore opposed to abortion. As Christians and Wesleyans we also believe the Gospel as preached by the Reverend John Wesley has social and moral implications as well. Because of this we believe that viable alternatives should be provided to those who become pregnant and feel they have no other options.
