Palm Sunday is the day Christians celebrate the Triump-
al Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem,
five days before He was crucified in that city.
Worshipers waved palm branches and spread their cloaks in the road to greet Him as He approached on a donkey. They shouted, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” Critics urged Him to rebuke the noisy crowd. But Jesus said, “If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out!” (Luke 19:40).
The Wesleyan Church encourages you to observe Palm Sunday as a day to renew your worship and commitment to our triumphant Lord.
